Mission
The Iowa FFA Foundation's mission is to seek and provide financial support to assist agricultural education organizations
in accomplishing their missions.
History
The Iowa FFA Foundation was established as a 501c-3 non-profit foundation in 1986 to support the needs of agricultural
education and the FFA. Each year, the foundation's goal has been to increase funding to develop, maintain, and enhance FFA
initiatives. Therefore, the foundation has become important to the success of agricultural education and FFA in
Iowa. The Iowa FFA Foundation headquarters is located at 301 Center Ave. S, Mitchellville, Iowa 50169.
Structure
The Iowa FFA Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors that develops policies, sets priorities, and oversees the
management of the foundation. It also relies on a volunteer Sponsoring Committee consisting of business and industry
leaders to assist with securing financial support. All volunteer members of the
Board of Directors and its committees serve without salary. The Board of Directors is composed of agricultural business/industry
representatives, agricultural education teachers, the current and past state FFA presidents, FFA Alumni members, Postsecondary
Agricultural Students Organization (PAS) representatives, Iowa Department of Education staff members, and the foundation's
executive director
Supporting the Iowa FFA Foundation
Financially, the Iowa FFA Foundation operates by securing support for agricultural education and FFA through:
• Donations from individuals, business and industry, organizations, and FFA chapters for special projects and
the general fund.
• The sale of limited edition tractors, trucks, artist prints, and other items.
To continue to meet the long-term financial needs for operational expenses, the foundation has implemented "Sharing
With Pride," a multi-year giving program.
The Iowa FFA Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization.
