Ways to Contribute

General Fund

The basic method of supporting the foundation and its activities. Categories for direct contributions include:

   Contributor — $25 - $49
   Sponsor — $50 - $99
   Bronze — $100 - $249
   Silver — $250 - $499
   Gold — $500 - $999
   One Star — $1,000 - $1,999
   Two Star — $2,000 - $2,999
   Three Star — $3,000 - $3,999
   Four Star — $4,000 - $4,999
   Distinguished Star — $5,000 or more

Sponsored Projects Fund

For donors who wish to sponsor specific award areas such as agricultural proficiency awards, career development events, ag science fair, community development, safety activities, and leadership training.

Endowment Fund

Contributions of $100 or more may be designated as endowment gifts that generate interest income to be used for future FFA activities.

Life Insurance Bequests

Life insurance policies naming the Iowa FFA Foundation as beneficiary is a great way to leave your legacy.  Premium payments are tax deductible up to the legal limit of the entire value of the policy if initiated as a gift. Your insurance agent can provide details.

Life Share Gifts

You may designate a percentage of your life insurance to the Iowa FFA Foundation. Discuss this with your insurance salesperson to get additional information.

Estate Gifts

Contributions of real estate or other assets may be written into your will. Contact your attorney for detailed information.

Charitable Annuity

Creates current funds for Iowa FFA Foundation projects while guaranteeing income and estate value for charitable contributors. Contact your insurance company or an attorney for more information.

Sharing With Pride

Multi-year giving program which is designed to greatly increase general fund support on an annual basis. All parents, past FFA members, FFA Alumni members, as well as other individuals, associations, businesses and companies that are friends of the FFA are encouraged to join Sharing With Pride.  This commitment is to be fulfilled through 10 annual payments. An invoice will be sent each year as a reminder of when your annual contribution is due.  When enrolling in the Sharing With Pride program, please indicate whether your pledge and contributions are for the Iowa FFA Foundation's General Fund or for The Enrichment Center.  Click here to learn more about Sharing With Pride.

Memorials

For those who believe in agricultural education and FFA, a meaningful way to remember loved ones and/or to express sympathy to others who have lost someone very dear to them, is through the giving of memorial money to the Iowa FFA Foundation. All memorials received by the Iowa FFA Foundation will be listed in an issue of the Iowa FFA Foundation news publication.

• You'll support the educational activities of more than 12,000 Iowa youth.
• You'll receive a subscription to the Iowa FFA Foundation News, a publication  that will show how the Iowa FFA Association and the Foundation put your dollars to work.
• You'll be recognized in the Foundation's annual report and receive a sponsor's card as well as an appreciation certificate that you can display in your home or business.
• If you contribute at a Gold or higher level, you'll be invited to the annual Iowa FFA Leadership Conference. You'll be recognized on stage as an Iowa FFA Foundation sponsor and attend a special sponsor's luncheon.
