Rules of the Shows:

To ensure a courteous and inviting atmosphere for all of our participants, the following rules govern both shows:

  1. Vendors agree to maintain a kind, respectful, and courteous event for every guest.  Vendors agree to never disparage, harass, bully, discriminate or treat any participant, guest, staff or vendor negatively - ever!  Especially related to or stemming from race, creed, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other status.
  2. Agricultural Education is non-political.  NO vendor is allowed to display, exhibit or promote any information or materials which may be constituted as political.
  3. Agricultural Education is not affiliated with any religious beliefs. NO vendor is allowed display, exhibit or promote any information or materials which may be constituted as religious.
  4. Vendors agree that that they will not sell directly to or offer any sale materials for participants at the show.  Companies/organizations offering fund raising services, products and/or promotional items to FFA Chapters, Members and/or Advisors are allowed to attend the show to promote their organizations and display their products.
  5. Vendors are not allowed to give out any item that can be affixed to another item.  In the past, when stickers have been at the show, stickers have been found across all of the host facilities, thus incurring significant cleaning expense to remove.

All vendors agree to abide by these rules as a condition of participation. Any vendor found to be in breach of these rules may be asked to leave the event immediately, banned from future events and/or subjected to additional fees.  Vendors are responsible to abide by these rules even if the individual who registers for the event is not the same as the individuals representing the organization at the event.

What is the Iowa Agricultural Career Show?

The Iowa Agricultural Career Show is held annually as part of the Iowa FFA Leadership Conference. Each year 6,500+ student FFA members, advisors, parents, sponsors and guests travel to this conference to celebrate the achievements of FFA across the state of Iowa during the previous year. While at the conference, students take time to interact with exhibitors in the career show, helping students to understand the agricultural industry and gain valuable information regarding their career path. While many students are not of the age where they may participate in internships or be actively seeking full-time employment, students take an active role understanding the various components of each career pathway while trying to gain an understanding about how they can achieve their career goals.

Why should I exhibit at the Iowa Agricultural Career Show?

The Iowa Agricultural Career Show is an incredible opportunity to interact directly with 6,500+ students who attend the show. Are you interested in getting your company’s brand immediately recognized by a targeted core group of individuals? Do you need individuals prepared to join your workforce in the coming years? Do you have a desire to help students explore their career choices in any of the more than 300 agricultural careers? If you agree to any of these statements, then you need to be at the show.

When is the show?

Move-in: Sunday, April 14, 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

                    Monday, April 15, 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.

Show hours: Monday, April 15, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

                            Tuesday, April 16, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Move-out: Tuesday, April 16, 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

How much is a booth?

Indoor and Outdoor booths - $500

Registrations after April 1 will be charged an additional $50 late registration fee.

 

2024 Scheman Building Construction:

Significant construction/refurbishment is occurring at the Scheman Building during 2024.  This will impact our show by causing a the vast majority of the booths previously located in Scheman's first floor to be relocated to the grand concourse of Hilton Coliseum.

What comes with an indoor booth?

Included with each indoor booth is:

  • one (1) 8'x8' space (Carpet in Scheman, No Carpet in Hilton)
  • one (1) 6’ table (skirted and covered)
  • two (2) folding chairs
  • standard electricity
  • wireless internet
  • Monday lunch for up to two guests per booth (additional available upon request) 
  • Monday AM, PM & Tuesday AM refreshments
  • additional tables, chairs, electricity (shared and dedicated circuits)and hard-wire internet are available upon request for an additional fee.

How do I reserve a booth?

What is the Iowa Agricultural Education Annual Summer Conference Tradeshow?

The Iowa Association of Agricultural Educators (IAAE) invites you to participate in the Iowa Agricultural Education Summer Conference Tradeshow, which is held annually as part of the Iowa Agricultural Education Professional Development Conference. The summer conference draws the attendance of agricultural educators from more than 250 high schools and 13 community college agriculture programs as well as Iowa State University faculty.

Why should I exhibit at the Iowa Agricultural Education Summer Conference Tradeshow?

The Ag. Ed. Tradeshow is an incredible opportunity to interact directly with these dedicated individuals. Agricultural educators are not only the local decision makers on many aspects such as fundraising, educational materials and curriculum usage but also influence countless other agricultural interests and decisions of local students and their families. Please join us to make your presence known.

How much is a booth?

All booth spaces will be $150.
