Iowa FFA Foundation Checkoff Program
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Launched in 2018 in partnership with Heartland Co-op, the Iowa FFA Foundation Checkoff Program allows producer members to make 1/10th cent per bushel donations to the Iowa FFA Foundation at the time of grain sale. Checkoff contributions directly support Agricultural Education in Iowa and are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. In 2020, the program expanded to include Archer Coop Grain Company.
WHY SHOULD I TAKE PART?
Each small contribution from grain sold by customers enrolled in the Iowa FFA Foundation Checkoff Program directly supports the work of the Iowa FFA Foundation and its impact on the future of agricultural education. Contributions may also be credited back to the grain customer’s local FFA chapter.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
A 1/10th of a cent will be deducted from each bushel of corn or soybeans sold at the time of sale. The cooperative will then submit 100% of those funds to the Iowa FFA Foundation. Contributions support the Foundation's work across leadership development, career advancement, and FFA-specific resources. All donations are tax deductible and, when combined with other cooperative customers, can create a significant impact.
HOW DO I SIGN UP TO CONTRIBUTE?
Member producers should contact their local cooperative office for more information on registering for the Iowa FFA Foundation Checkoff Program.
